OTR

Clay: Franken-clay, Mother of Pearl Lustre

This sneaker is shaped like a brain and made using mixed media, including tape and plasters.

OTR Bristol - Off The Record - is a youth mental health charity I currently work for.

Around 1 in 4 young people experience difficulties with their mental health. The tape and plasters represent the ways young people can try to fix, hide or hold themselves together before finding the support and therapy they need. Sometimes we patch ourselves up without really understanding what is hurting.

Before we learn how to heal, we often learn how to hide the cracks.
